I have installed Cent OS Blue Quartz and am trying to use ftp to upload files to the webserver. I have enabled FTP in the Blue Quartz admin panel, but it seems it times out at (from Ipswitch WS_FTP) 0.000000 seconds. It works fine when I try to use Windows Explorer (My Computer -> FTP Address) to connect and then right click and click “Login As”, however it doesn’t work in WS_FTP or FileZilla, or some other program my actually tried.
I am trying from the same network the server is on, and I can actually access the site in the web browser, it’s just the FTP itself, but as I say the FTP does in fact work when I go to My Computer and type the ftp address in the address bar, and it does then let me login if I right click and click “Login As”.
I read somewhere it said about the network card I have in there, I’ve tried another one but still no luck. I’m thinking it could be a problem with the timeout time, not too sure.
Can anyone please help?
