There isn't much documentation on the dell 1501 and linux so I have been making my own as I go. I installed Ubuntu and hated it, Fedora wouldn't work with ndiswrapper for some reason so I went to CentOS 5. I've always used CentOS on my servers but I'm really loving it on my laptop. I personally have tested SuSE, Fedora and Mandriva before. My personal taste now is Slackware, which I have been running for years.
