I work at a computer lab using linux. I want to turn up the sound – and can’t seem to find how to do it (used to Windows at home). Where in the Xfce menu can I configure the basic sound levels of the system? Thanks in advance.

You have to open the “Settings Manager”. Ways to do that:
- Right-click on the desktop background and choose All Settings in the Settings sub-menu.
- Applications>Settings>Settings Manager
You should get lucky there and find an icon named “Sounds”.
