Okay, so I installed Ubuntu 10.04.2 onto my Sony Vaio today and of course, due to Sony’s incredible lack of common sense, the touchpad wouldn’t be detected, just the keyboard. This fix shows how to fix this problem on whatever machine it should appear on, and the best bit? You don’t even need to plug in a USB-Mouse! Any problems, just ask, and remember to subscribe!
