JUST NOW ONLY I INSTALL RED HAT LINUX

CURRENTLY I USE
XP AND LINUX

IN REDHAT LINUX HOW CAN I FIND OUT OTHER HARDRIVES and also open it SUCH AS C:\,D:\,..
PLEASE SPECIFY HOW CAN I OPEN IT IN LINUX..

I am not sure about question ?…but I take in this way….
You have a dual boot & you want your linux to mount your windows partitions (C, D drives). may be this article should help you….

i have a problem with my redhat linux .
i was trying to make a broadband connection {BSNL dataone}
when i take the network option ,
“eth0 has an alias module winbound in modules .conf, instead of currently loaded module e100″ message comes .
wat does it mean ?

Right now I can dual boot with Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux. My wireless card doesn’t work with Ubuntu. So I was wondering, could I buy a USB wireless adapter and try to connect to a wifi network using that? If so what is recommended to get? And where could I get drivers for Ubuntu Linux?

you should have transfered all the settings from wins7 to linux when you installed it then the wifi would have worked

In order to have those VMs ping each other you need to setup bridged networking for those VMs and assign IP addresses.

change HDD data cable
and make sure HDD is primary master

Hi, RedHat installation is easy compared to other Linux installations. first make sure where you want to install the linux.(in which drive)( if u have windows already). If you wanna use windows and linux, then first install windows and later linux.
1. Boot from Linux CD (for graphical mode press “ENTER”
2. select your language, keyboard, and mouse type.
3. use manual Disk drude
4. partitions will be appeard on the screen
———– ————— ———— ————-
| hda | xxxx | YYYYY | ZZZZZ |
|_____ |________ |______ | _______|
click on the partition and (in which windows is not there).
4. Delete that partion (caution: there should not be any important data).
5. click on new and in the first field select “/boot” and give some memory.
6. then click on the remain memory on that drive and click new and in the second field of opened window select “swap”
and assign some space. (which should be twice to ur system RAM).
7. then again select remaining memory on the same drive and click on new and in the first field of opened window select “/”, this is the root partion.
8. select this “/” partition and press “Next”
9. here you have a choice of ur own packages and applications, select those as per your requirement.
10. Enter root password, this must be remembered, without this u cant enter in to the linux environment.
11. By pressing “Next” installation will start.
i think this will guide a bit. HAPPY INSTALLATION
