I am planning to go home to the Philippines but want to find out “open” air fare to a regular airfare? and how much does it cost to have a open ticket?

Years ago, you could buy a round trip ticket with an open return. That is that you had paid for the return ticket, but had no reservation for a return flight. I don’t know whether you can do this now or not. I will depend on the carrier. I suggest that you check with Continental, Northwest or Philippine Airlines to see if you can do this.
