Question by dolbex: What is a great portable hardware backup solution for a Ubuntu Linux setup?
We have found that there are not a whole lot of consumer-level devices out there made for an easy Linux backup solution. Anyone out there have a great setup that includes a portable backup that they can move offsite?

How do I setup 64 bit RedHat LINUX on DELL PowerEdge 2950 server?

Question by grigorianvlad: How do I setup 64 bit RedHat LINUX on DELL PowerEdge 2950 server?
Hi. I have a DELL PowerEdge 2950 server running Windows Server OS. I need to install RedHat LINUX 64bit on it. I already have the RedHat CD-ROMS, but there is nothing on them about being 32bit or 64bit. So, how do I make sure the LINUX installation is actually 64bit (to take advantage of 4GB of RAM). Is there an option to choose during RedHat install?
DELL site says their processors are 64bit capable. Thanks.

If you bought the discs with a 64bit kernel, they will be 64 bit.
Just put in the discs, one at a time, in order and follow the screen directions.
