Being an MS Lan Admin, mastering MSSQL will make you more specialized in managing Microsoft solutions. You may get more mileage from mastering Exchange server and Active Directory.
Learning Redhat will make you more well-rounded in the sense that it’s a non-MS solution.
It’s really a toss-up. Being MS-centric will make you more marketable to companies that deploy a Microsoft solution. If you haven’t already, you should consider Microsoft certifications.
